Important Changes to the South Staffordshire Community Lottery.

20 March 2019

As of the 1st April 2019, your chosen good cause will now receive 50% of all the funds raised from our generous supporters who buy tickets every week. This means a total of 60% will be going to good causes in your local community.

You’ll find answers to most questions below, but if you would like to find out more, please contact our support team.

Why is the fund structure changing?

We are always looking for ways to make South Staffordshire Community Lottery even better for supporters and causes. This exciting change to the fund structure will mean 50p of every £1 will go to the good cause of your choice, with a further 10p going to other local good causes.

Will the cost of tickets increase?

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!

What are the odds of me winning?

The probabilities of winning a prize are outlined below. The chances of winning the £25,000 jackpot is 1 in a million (compared to 1 in 45 million for the National Lottery).

What do I need to do?

You don’t need to take any action. All tickets entered into draws from Saturday 6th April will automatically be included under the new fund structure. If you play via direct debit, the payments will continue in exactly the same way.

What happens if I win?

All winners will be notified via email. We’ll also publish the winning number on the website each week. Winnings will be paid directly into your nominated bank account or you can choose to donate your winning back to South Staffordshire Community Lottery.

Where can I find more information about how the lottery works?

You can find lots of information on our website including game rules and terms of play.

Who can I contact if I have further questions about the new changes?

You can email the team at [email protected] or give us a call on 01902 213 777.
